Black Labs, Yellow Labs, Chocolate Labs and funny Dogs of all colors show their spirit in original designs. Each one-of-a-kind piece takes advantage of the individual characteristics of the chosen fabrics. The texture and sheen do not fully show on screen. Many techniques are combined including painting, dying, beading, couching, weaving, applique, hand and machine embroidery and quilting.

Black Lab & Dragonfly Pillow - $48

This shiny black Labrador Retriever enjoys a quiet moment inspecting the flowers and curious dragonfly friend. Quilt top created using hand-painted fabrics. Layers are machine-quilted with lustrous rayon thread in flowing leaves. Pillow is stuffed to a plump, soft finish. Approximate size 16" x 16". The pillow back is quilted with a free-hand paw pattern.

Heart Dog Pillow - $38

Yellow Labrador profile together with a pink flowered heart are appliqued and machine quilted with heart design. Soft and comfy at approximately 12 x 13".

An Art Quilt to express how I feel about my Labradors Retrievers. Many types of fabric were woven to create the heart, embellished with hand-stitched embroidery, beading & couching. Machine quilted.
